Core rule: HSEZON assists HSE work. It does not replace a competent person, site inspection, approved risk assessment, permit system, engineering assessment, emergency procedure, applicable legal requirement or client/project requirement.
1. Purpose of HSEZON
HSEZON provides digital tools intended to help HSE professionals organize information, prepare drafts, record activities and manage selected HSE workflows. The platform is an assistance and productivity tool, not an authority that approves work or certifies that a workplace or activity is safe.
2. Competent-person and professional review
Any risk assessment, inspection, permit, toolbox talk, observation, incident analysis, training content, safety sign, recommendation or other HSE material created or assisted by HSEZON must be reviewed as appropriate by a competent and authorized person before use.
- Confirm the actual work scope and site conditions.
- Verify hazards, persons at risk and required controls.
- Confirm plant, equipment, competency, supervision and emergency arrangements.
- Obtain required approvals and authorizations outside or within HSEZON as applicable.
- Revise content whenever conditions, scope or requirements change.
3. AI-generated and AI-assisted content
Artificial intelligence can produce incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or contextually inappropriate information. It may misunderstand a prompt, photograph, activity or technical requirement. Generated content should therefore be treated as assistance or a draft until appropriately verified.
Never assume an AI response is compliant merely because it sounds professional. Verify safety-critical information independently before relying on it.
4. Site-specific conditions
HSE controls depend on the actual activity, location, people, equipment, environment, simultaneous operations and changing site conditions. HSEZON cannot independently observe every relevant condition. Users must carry out appropriate site verification and update documents when circumstances change.
5. Laws, standards and client requirements
HSEZON does not guarantee that generated content reflects every current law, code, standard, authority requirement, client rule or project procedure applicable to a user's location or activity. Where references are used, users must verify that they are current, applicable and correctly interpreted.
AI features should not be relied upon to invent clause numbers, legal citations, permit requirements, measurements, exposure limits, client requirements or project facts.
6. Risk assessments, PTW, inspections and other tools
A completed HSEZON form or generated document does not itself make work safe or constitute authorization to proceed. Risk assessments require actual hazard evaluation. Permits require the applicable issuer/receiver/authorized-person controls. Inspections require physical verification. Training and toolbox talks require appropriate delivery and understanding.
7. Photo and camera safety analysis
Photo analysis may identify visible conditions but can miss hazards outside the image, obscured hazards, depth or distance issues, equipment condition, atmospheric hazards, electrical status, structural conditions or other facts that cannot be reliably determined from an image alone.
Do not use photo analysis as a substitute for a physical inspection or competent technical assessment.
8. Emergencies and immediate danger
HSEZON is not an emergency-response service. Where there is immediate danger, an incident, fire, medical emergency, uncontrolled energy, structural concern, hazardous release or other urgent condition, follow the site's emergency arrangements and contact the appropriate emergency services or responsible persons. Do not wait for an AI response.
9. Records, reports and generated documents
Users are responsible for checking the accuracy, completeness, dates, names, approvals, signatures, evidence and other information contained in records and reports before issuing or relying on them. Generated formatting does not establish that the underlying information has been independently verified.
10. User responsibility
The user remains responsible for professional decisions and for complying with applicable workplace, legal, contractual and project requirements. Employers, clients and other duty holders retain their respective responsibilities; use of HSEZON does not transfer those duties to the platform.
11. Questions
Questions about this disclaimer or the intended use of HSEZON can be submitted through the Contact page. Also review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Legal review: This disclaimer is a production-oriented draft reflecting HSEZON's current product design. It should receive appropriate jurisdiction-specific legal review before full commercial launch.
